Peculiar, Missouri, USA  Kansas City

I was in the Navy on a ship, and when we stopped in Naples, I went to a record store, and had the clerks pick me out several Italian pop/rock cassettes. I met a couple friends in Naples who turned me onto Pino Daniele, unfortunately it was only "street" tapes I had of him, low quality and pirated. So that's pretty much the music I listened to while floating around the Mediterranean, Black Sea, The Atlantic. It makes English music sound German or something after listening to Italian for so long, lol!

Italy is the best! Especially the buffala mozerella pizzas!

Well, I grew up listening to american folk and rock so I guess we have a nice cultural exchange here ;) My very first composition teacher was a long time collaborator of Pino Daniele (he would write string arrangement and so on for his studio albums and live performances as well as being his main piano player)

8-) that is cool. Thanks to youtube, I can continue enjoying their music and discover new music I wouldn't have otherwise. I couldn't remember Ivan Graziani's last name, so when I found it looking up some songs on youtube, I listened to him for about an hour, lol!
