Wedding Forward

Post by jonathanm » Thu Mar 26, 2009 11:49 am

Hi, folks. Just posting to say I got a forward on the listing for wedding music on a tune I wrote years ago for our wedding. Here's the tune: Wedding Suite - Part 1Here's the listing:INSTRUMENTAL WEDDING MUSIC is needed by President of Indie Jazz label who is compiling music for a wedding CD to market in gift shops for the summer of 2009. Melodic original, or cover tracks (a la Pachelbel Canon in D, Butterfly Kisses, Wedding March, There Is Love, Angel Eyes, etc.) are welcome with the emphasis being on romantic sounds. Priority will be toward tracks led by Spanish/Classical guitar, acoustic piano, harp and trumpet. Although the compilation will mostly be ballads, slow-to-medium tracks will also be considered. The music must have great performances and a mastered production ready for licensing. The label offers non-exclusive master licenses and mechanical royalties to publishers.

Thanks, all. It was nice to get that one after a 3 month dry spell. Maybe we'll get some rain now.
