2/3 on Fun/Wacky listing

Post by ckbarlow » Wed Mar 25, 2009 11:16 am

Y090305INWACKY/FUN/WHIMSICAL INSTRUMENTALS are sought after by a Major Music Publisher with distribution through a huge Production Music Library....I put in Quirky 1, Hanapepe Morning, and Poke in the Ear. (www.taxi.com/ckbarlow)Quirky and Poke got through. Hanapepe was too mellow (which I knew as soon as I hit the "Are you sure?" button. What was I thinking?).Quirky again got the comment that the woodwinds are cheesy, so I need to deal with that. Can just say how much I appreciate the info we're now getting on the Y/N listings? It's so much better than getting no feedback. Because they're so silly, I'm going to publish the secret lyrics to "Poke in the Ear" -- co-written with my goofy, awesome spouse, who's sense of humor is obviously as messed up as mine:I poke you in the ear because it's ChristmasI poke you in the eye to say helloI squeeze your tiny head because I love youand I pull your hair when it starts to snow. It's Christmastime, the soy nog's outIt's Christmastime, I have no doubtIt's time to sing, it's time to dance,It's time to wear your Christmas pants.Yep.
