First Two Forwards!

I have been a member for the past couple of months and have really enjoyed reading the forum and listening to all your great work on here. It seems like a really vibrant community!!

I just got signed up on the forum today and wanted to share my excitement! I received my first two forwards for the first two songs I submitted!

I would like to share with you my submission for the following listing:

CONTEMPORARY SINGER/SONGWRITER SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed for a few different projects by a Multi-Platinum Producer with an incredible resume. He’s searching for Mid-to-Up Tempo Songs that are in the broad range of artists like (but NOT limited to), Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy, Katie Herzig, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the references below to get a general idea of the range of styles that could work for this pitch: “From Afar” by Vance Joy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYUcqmpHJbk “Beautiful Inside” by Katie Herzig: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDsU_-_kuSo “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UQzJfsT2eo Please submit well-structured Songs with captivating melodies, wonderfully crafted lyrics, and a killer chorus. A simple acoustic-based performance with guitar, ukulele, or piano and vocals can do the trick for this producer! He’s open to hearing basic demos if they’re done really well and the songs are super strong! You can also submit songs with a fuller production, if you’d like Having a compelling vocal performance will really help sell your song to this producer and the artists he’s working with. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, Include Lyrics.

This was a solo write, sung by my talented friend and collaborator Cortez. I am still new to the production side of things, so please feel free to give me any input! I also love collaborating so if anyone thinks our styles would fit well together please reach out to me - I would love to work together! I really love writing in the pop/acoustic/R&B genres but am always open to anything!
