Re: Ears please!
For what it's worth, I just had a forward on a listing with a "2:00 give or take" specified and my cue was about 2:20.

Re: Ears please!
I like both versions, but moving the banjo to the right feels good! I hope you get the forward!

Re: Ears please!
Nice track Steve!
I sent one in for this listing that I am expecting to have returned, but I will take great pleasure in seeing yours in the forwards section in a few weeks :)

I am sure you're in with a better chance than you think. Good luck and I'll let you know how I get on with mine.
Cheers.

Re: Ears please!
I'm a bit late here but it's a sweet track Steve again from you.
Aint it a drag putting strings on all those instruments?!
Laid back mood you create and I must say I got a little Clapton feel in the bridge, nice.
Best o luck with this and others.

Evening/Morning Les! Hope all good with you sir.lesmac wrote:

Yes, it's a pain - acoustic/electric guitars re-strung every 2 or 3 gigs - then there's the National and the Dobro, and I just bought a gypsy jazz guitar ( I'm loving getting into that!). Sometimes it's a toss-up between new strings or dinner! I wonder if there is any protein to be had out of eating old strings? Ha ha ha!
Thanks for the kind words!
Cheers/

Re: Ears please!
Top of the morning to you from sunny Tassie Steve. Well there's a bit of cloud about but no snow on the mountain.
Ive been practicing and playing for quite a while with finger picks on the acoustic. I put those tortoise shell ones in hot water and take the curve out of them.

Is that an arch top Steve? Man Ive got to get me some more flavours. Ive only got acoustics and electrics plus a folksy type of mando. I'd love a National or a dobro.Yes, it's a pain - acoustic/electric guitars re-strung every 2 or 3 gigs - then there's the National and the Dobro, and I just bought a gypsy jazz guitar ( I'm loving getting into that!).

Maybe you could snare some bunnies or hares with them.Sometimes it's a toss-up between new strings or dinner! I wonder if there is any protein to be had out of eating old strings? Ha ha ha!
