Surf Punk Forward!
Hey All,
STOKED to get a forward on this cue! Possibly my worst title to date. Wave Punk Goes Trippin!
https://soundcloud.com/steveboynton/wav ... es-trippin
HIGH-ENERGY, SURFER, PUNK ROCK INSTRUMENTAL CUES are U-R-G-E-N-T-L-Y needed for a (up to) $10,000, Direct-to-Ad-Agency placement in a National TV Commercial. They’re searching for Mid-to-Up Tempo Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic wheelhouse of the following references: “No Waves” by Fidlar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioMuDdNPIxQ “The Impression That I Get” by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIGMUAMevH0 “Freaks” by Surf Curse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL-D9CVj-Pc Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumentals only for this pitch. Please submit energetic Surf Punk Instrumental Cues that have a touch of 60’s Rock influence. Your Cues should be hip, cool, and maybe a bit quirky as they’re looking for a stand out idea that’s not the same old typical Rock. A fun, catchy melody with some classic surf guitar sounds, along with some Punk-ish edge should all serve you well! Anything that’s obviously synthetic sounding or MIDI-driven won’t work well for this pitch. Quoting The Source: “Your Instrumental Cue should tell a story but nothing too intricate.” Your submissions should be about 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will probably be best. Do NOT copy the referenced music in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). The estimated license fee is up to $10,000, depending on the ultimate use. This is a Direct-to-Ad-Agency pitch. You’ll keep 100% ownership of the Copyright and Master Recording, but you won’t be able to license your Instrumental Cue for any other Commercials for the duration of the term of agreement, which will be determined by the Ad Agency and you. You must own or control the Master and Composition rights to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Sunday, October 1st, 2017. TAXI #U171001SP

Thanks Anna! Yes, cue naming is a challenge for me.
I need to get out of the habit of waiting until the last minute to name things.
