Brand New Band Name

I just secured the .com for "7 Billion Suns"...it's the new name of my next musical project OR/ a future production company name.

I was inspired to come up with it by one of songmaster's lyrics. I'm pretty pleased that I nabbed the domain name.

Your thoughts on this? Do you like it? I think it rolls off of the tongue sort of like "Nine Inch Nails".

The deeper meaning behind the name, is that I believe everyone is born with a gift. So It's a really positive thing!

There's an obscure artist I just found on the net who released an instrumental song called "Seven Billion Suns". I hope she doesn't come after me!

What's in a name? A heck of a lot is what i would say. I always felt Loverboy would have been much bigger if it wasn't for the girly name. Great band.

Another group I'd put into that category would be The Posies. They're just a fantastic group, but again...a really weak name in my opinion.

I'm flattered you liked the name. I visited your website and it means quite a bit to me, coming from an accomplished musician such as yourself.

As I've mentioned before, I have schizophrenia and often times I can't tell if I'm really on to something with my ideas, or if It's just another one of my 'flights of fancy'. So I seek reassurance from others to see if any of my concoctions have merit.

I own several catchy domain names. It's just another one to add to the list.
