Fife and drum loops

Post by teleblaster » Wed Nov 29, 2017 8:24 am

Looking for royalty free fife and drum loops, actually just the fife would be ideal. I don't mind if they need to be purchased, they just have to be free to use in my own compositions. The performances need to sound like the typical continental army stuff -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTDOoXd6EXs I did a fair bit of searching last night and only found a few sites that I didn't necessarily trust to buy from. In lieu of audio loops a super awesome but not so expensive fife sample engine (standalone or Kontact) would be OK.

Also, been a while since I've been on these boards. Hope everyone is doing well. Talk soon.

Here's the midi drum rudiments

Why wouldn't a piccolo or flute sample work and just pitch shift or maybe ethnic flutes??

Thanks Len, I've been playing around with a few piccolo samples and some processing and getting sorta close.
