This is the first year that I actually feel like I have things worth reporting - so for those of you who care. Also FWIW I am just finishing up my second year with TAXI. In January I will start year #3.Also, this was all on top of working 50+ hours/week on average at my day job.
Anyways.
- Co-scored a short film with a friend of mine that was nominated for Best Original Score at the Los Angeles Film awards in May.
- Signed my first two deals with music publishers. The first of which I wrote an entire album for, and that album is still on their featured albums list after 3 months.
- Had my music used for the first couple times in a prime-time high profile reality show.
- Attended my first Taxi Road Rally, an absolutely life-changing experience.
- I have 3 collaboration albums in the works that will be released in early 2018.
- I am in the process of joining forces with an artist that has been a big inspiration to me this year as they transition from a solo act to a duo with yours truly.
- Wrote more music this year than the last several years combined.
I am SO grateful for everyone who has helped me along the way, all the wonderful people I've met, the relationships that I've formed and that continue to grow, and for those of you who have constantly shown support. Thank you Michael, the entire Taxi staff, and the community!! You all ROCK.
2017 has been great, and I'm excited to make 2018 even better. No new year's resolutions, just going to keep doing the work.
