New to composing

Post by scath » Thu Mar 08, 2018 10:00 pm

Been writing lyrical songs for a few years but new to production and composing for briefs.

This was one of the first ones I've submitted (just joined Taxi) - for the emotional Piano Cue -- https://app.box.com/s/jy23pfksorqy6w4vif7x6yj2yji9l1xe

Would love some feedback, I plan to post some more detailed/involved composition stuff soon too.

I like it. Definitely creates a mood. The mix could probably use some work. I would like for it to have more dynamics. Maybe raise the level of the strings in the middle section, and give them a little more melodic content, then get quiet again in the last section. I can see this working. Good job.

Good suggestion on making the strings more dynamic. Thanks for the feedback Rob!
