My first deal!

I'm very happy to report that a Taxi forward for a recent listing has resulted in signing my instrumental cue to a publisher.

I finally have an iron in the fire, and hopefully a long-term relationship with what appears to be a great publisher. Thank you Taxi!

If anyone that is reading this is still waiting for their first deal, be encouraged that the more rejections you get and the more that you keep writing, learning and persisting, the closer you are to getting it.
Of course the closer you are, the more frustrating it can become when it hasn't happened. But I guess that means that if you are REALLY frustrated that you haven't got that first deal yet, then you must be REALLY close ... so just keep pushing!
