Ok - I did listen to the newer version. And then I just listened to the older version for ref.

Here is what I mean again in an audio version: https://soundcloud.com/andy-gabrys-musi ... ce/s-Tz4zF

I don't think either of the two versions that Michael posted are necessarily quantized to the beat.

I am saying that it feels more like its played in a triplet swing, rather than a strict 16th note subdivision. If it were straightened out one way or the other it would be more clear.

IMO. YMMV.

Andy,

Yes you're absolutely right. After reading your post yesterday it hit right over the head. Don't know how I got started down the wrong path cause it wasted a lot of time and hope I learned from this mistake. Could have written 2 or 3 more tracks in the time spend cleaning up my mess.

Without you and everyone's input the song would have been a disaster.

I've submitted the track and another I wrote today. Both are on my Taxi webpage if anyone cares to listen. The tracks are:

Y180824EP-1 Juice It Up (retitled, didn't think Ready to Shake was really shaking)

Y180824EP-2 Fast Cars

I owe all you guys. Hope we can meet up at the Road Rally.
Michael
