Changing the name of the song

Post by ronnie35 » Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:10 pm

I have two songs that were placed it was an exclusive deal. I noticed when I went to the Libraries site, the song was the same all styles sting, .30 and full song; but they changed the name.
I don't care but shouldI have been notified.

Happens all the time, Ron. Sometimes they tell you about the change, sometimes they don't.

But if they did change the title to your track, it's probably for one of these two reasons:

1) They already had a track with your title in their catalog.
2) They thought their title would be more representative or more appealing to editors & supervisors than your title.

I talked about the importance of a good title in this Taxi TV episode: https://youtu.be/YcZDYBEAKi0?t=5383

Bottom line, don't stress the re-titling. Just revel in the fact that the library accepted your music!
