Public release platforms on a limited budget

an Old-Guy on a fixed income still needs (wants) to follow the RR Mentors' advice: release songs as singles (no more albums or CDs) on as many digital sites as possible.
And - if able - at least a lyrics video for You Tube followers.
QUESTION: so - for what's the best 'bang-for-the-buck'... and 'gotta-have' minimums?
Website... You Tube channel... those where listeners who wanna buy a track can do so?

Here is Apple's list of partners they use to push tracks to iTunes.

I imagine a minimum would be

2. Have a Youtube channel with lyric videos and links to the digital stores.

3. Have a Facebook artist page.

Haven't done it myself yet but will be doing so soon.

I would just use Distrokid and be done with it. Great thing about them is that there is no administration deal, so you can still pitch the music you put up there to libraries.

Bandcamp's minimum cost looks like $144 a year. But, wouldn't that be duplicating what Distrokid would already be doing?

Hi Peter - I don't really know because I have not further looked into it, but Distrokid seems a very far-reaching deal. That is possibly what Kolstad means by "being done with it". Looks like a good thing to me, and after seeing Kolstad's post I remember that it was certainly something I wanted to look into when the time came for me. Tom

Okay... well, so far, I've not checked into that site yet, either... it's now on my to-do list; along with too many other to-do/s.

To Lester's comment - I don't do Facebook, and don't plan to - though I realize that could pose some limitations. I don't own a smart phone... and won't.
I'm pretty much trying to find my way into this Social Media/Internet Age, from a Flintstonian perspective. It's proving to be quite difficult, at times.
For now... I'll just keep on pedaling with both feet.
