Hi Wendy,wendylanders wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:20 pmA question for Matt,
You have multiple interfaces. How are you using them, generally speaking?
Right now, I've got a Focusrite Claret 4Pre. I've got plenty of inputs and outputs, that's not the problem. I have to use it to play my Keyscape through the speakers in order to get a realistic, broadcast quality piano sound. At the same time, I need to use the same interface to record the track coming back through the speaker. I cannot get may head around how this is supposed to work. Are you using one interface for output and another for input? Do you hook them both up to the same computer? Are you using two different computers, one to play and another to record? Or can it all be done on one interface, and I just don't know what I'm doing?
I did find a YouTube video about how to connect multiple interfaces on a Mac computer, so that part I can figure out.
Thank you for letting Taxi TV come to your home!
Best,
Wendy Landers
Wow, Matt, you've got the eyes of a hawk!! Yup, I've got a Scarlett Focusrite 2-input interface, an ART Tube preamp (not connected), and a Behringer Headphone amp (also not connected..... rarely ever needed for what I do).I did not spot multiple interfaces in the footage (Matt - I hope what I am about to say is not 'bathroom creepy')... What I saw was the 64 keys version of the NI Kontrol keyboard (not sure it is the 1st or 2nd generation), the Focusrite 2i2 (?), an Art Preamp + a Behringer monitor controller...
