Licensing my music to local end user

Post by Susanstunes » Tue Sep 17, 2019 11:11 am

Hey Music Makers,

There is a show about to start production in my area that supposedly is going to make onto tv land next year.
I was wondering if I could approach them with my music and offer custom instros etc....for the show.
But I get hung up on how to represent my tracks without a publisher and their avenue where pitching/negotiating pricing takes place normally.
I do have a publisher but this music would not be of interest to them .

How the heck do writers do this?

Any ideas, thoughts??
Thanks, Susan

Thank you Dean! I think it makes sense that would be the answer, but I don't know if I am wanting to do that.... yet. But I will read that article -and I am with BMI. Susan
