What Greg is doing ... that's pretty much what I was thinking ... "no cords or dangling bits" ... at least when undocked from the larger components.
I think I would really like the portability. I might not want to selectively copy from sample libraries, but I have been thinking about streamlining and just ditching some of the big old libraries that I don't use as much anymore. I can always have those on an external drive if I needed. I'd have to figure out how much I could streamline (or how much SSD storage I could put in a laptop)
