I am looking for someone who is good at live instruments. Especially latin percussion, baby bass, brass.
I've been told my mixes suck (well, not that bad, but yeah), and I don't feel like spending the next year learning more (I understand studios, but I grew up in studios as a player, arranger, not an engineer). I understand the concepts, but my ears aren't what they used to be either (high freq gone from age
I use StudioOne, but don't care what you use.

Re: Mix Engineer
I can probably give you a hand with that. From what I hear on your Taxi artist page, it sounds mostly like the problem you have has to do with having a proper master chain and some timing alignments.
I can't do anything about the timings but I can probably help with the rest.

I'll PM you. Not sure what you mean about timing? Latin stuff is live and quantizing that would kill, but maybe you mean something else?antoinebalaine wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 8:56 pmI can probably give you a hand with that.
