(updated w working link) Forward to Indie Film Producer

Post by JohnnyP » Thu Feb 20, 2020 4:40 pm

Hey all,
Forgot to make this track public so it didn't get reported on the Forwards page. Here's my song:
"Been Waiting"
https://soundcloud.com/jp-pearson-1/bee ... 02/s-9YO7N

Unfortunately the song I wrote directly for the listing still hasn't come back from the vocalist.. oh well. There's always another listing!

Here's the listing.

BLUES/ROCK SONGS with Male Vocals are needed for an up to $200, NON-Exclusive, Direct-to-Producer placement in an Independent Feature Film.

NOTE: We ran this TAXI request several months ago, as Listing #Y190418BS. The film’s Music Supervisor/Producer still hasn’t found what he was looking for and asked us to run another search. If you submitted to Listing #Y190418BS, please send in different material this time around.

They’re on the hunt for an Uptempo Song that could work as a replacement for “Life To Fix” which is currently temped into this Film.

Quoting the Film's Producer: “We love the cool guitar riffs, the male vocals, and the general idea of the lyrics ('I have one life to live...')."

“Life To Fix” by The Record Company

This Film's Producer is NOT looking for clones or soundalikes! Similar tempo, style, and overall vibe? Yes. Clones? No!

Please submit rockin’ Songs that have many/most of the appealing elements of the reference, with outstanding melodies and great, hook-filled choruses. Your Songs should lean a bit more toward the Blues-y side of Rock, and should have solid musicianship and high-production value.

Congrats John! You are really on a roll! For some reason soundcloud didn't have your song available. Maybe it's my computer, it's done some strange things before, but maybe you can check it out. I would love to hear it.

Go your own way! Out of necessity, drive, gumption, whatever.. don't let anyone tell you you can't!
It's not what goes into your music that's important, it's what comes out the speakers
