For Taxi Beginners: Why you need to know how to record

Post by cassmcentee » Mon May 18, 2020 8:38 am

Just thought I would share this while I can.
Bill Hewett, David Zemak and I signed a deal for a tune from a Taxi forward for Middle Eastern Rock.
Then we signed a second tune with the library that took 7 remixes to get it where they liked it (not including the 14 alternative mixes afterwards)
Now we have a third tune that they dig but want it to be another 60 seconds longer.
To work towards success in this business you have to be able to do this!!! (including multiple mixes afterwards) It takes work.
I'll leave this up till we ink the deal (the version that is too short)
Cheers
Cass

very cool track; congrats on its current & future success.
Cheers from The Peanut Gallery,
Peter
(I see a Soundcloud barnacle-bot has already attached itself to the hull of this one. Time for a good scraping.)
