I am a relative newbie too...
There are some people I have chatted with during the Monday Taxi TV that I would like to "follow"
I tried the "add friend" button on one name which didn't seem to correlate to "follow"
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

This won't help with the forums. But, assuming you are a Taxi Member, there is a way to "follow" members on their Taxi Pages. It is a pretty cool new tool. It will give you a "notification" whenever someone you "follow" posts new music. Plus, it makes it so much easier to get to their page.

If you use the blog.taxi.com/forward tool then you can find members that have had their music forwarded. If you like their stuff, you can give 'em a "follow" by clicking on the follow button right in their banner. :)

I just added Steven Wesley Guiles from the 7/9/2020 forwards because (a) he had 2 forwards. So, probably pretty good at what he does and (b) I liked his stuff. :)

Hello world!

Thanks in advance for being cool and helpful. I'll be the same in return. My name is Gino and I'm doing what you're doing. As such and with time, I hope I get to collab with some of you fine people when opportunity and preparation intersect. Until then, first question(s).

1. is it cool to resubmit to a listing based on feedback you've been given? Which is directly related to the super noob question...
2. When a listing says something like, "stinger endings are best" or "2 to 3 minutes give or take", they don't mean submit a mix-minus version of your track that the music supervisor will see the obvious ways to cut and chop the track to suit, they mean cut the track yourself to suit the submission as best you can (then maybe later, if you ever land a deal, you can give them more of the track should they need it). Is that better strategy?

Thanks again,
G
