16 library music tracks this year!
Hello
My name is Pete, I live in England and first joined Taxi in the 90's but had no success then. I rejoined again this year and so far have had 16 tracks signed this year! To be fair, I've had tons of rejections but I'm working hard and hopefully improving every day. Just wanted to say hello. Hello!

Hi Susan, Kolstad and Superkons
Thanks for getting back to me. Susan, the 13 comedy tracks went to this one: ''A BUNCH of QUIRKY and HUMOROUS DRAMEDY-Style INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a globally recognized Production Music Library with an awesome history of great placements!' Your ref: D200502QR." The 3 surfing tracks went to: "D200429SR - Several ORIGINAL SURF-ROCK INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a great Music Library with International Distribution and lots of success in Film and TV placements."
Hi Kolstad, I have been to Denmark once (I used to work offshore in the North Sea and had to do some work for Maersk) so I know where you are!
My main instrument is the guitar, but like everyone else I tinker around on the keyboard as well.
At the moment I'm very much into J-pop. Unfortunately apart from the Japanese, I seem to be in the minority with this genre of music. But my taste is fairly broad, I sing in a choir (well, I did until lockdown) and I enjoy Vaughan Williams, Parry, Holst, traditional British composers as well as Jacques Brel, Grieg, Sibelius, Jerry Reed, stuff like that!
And thank you, Superkons, boss that to you too! (Not sure I know that expression but I reckon it means it's good!)

Ah, I picked up a bit of Scouse, as I have worked with some Liverpudlians, but I live in Manchester (and I am originally Italian...)PeteDavies wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 4:54 amAnd thank you, Superkons, boss that to you too! (Not sure I know that expression but I reckon it means it's good!)
And what an impressive track record, 13 for Dramedy style, wow!

Hi Peter,
Congratulations! That's awesome! It sounds like you have 'cracked the code' and have figured out what is needed for a piece of music to be forwarded.
Best,
Steve
