Hey, just over a year ago, I would have had to google TAXI!!
Sync Academy promises a lot.... and charges a bit... Any TAXI members with experience there (besides CD)? They do promise an easy out if it's not working...

Hopefully someone else will chime in, I know there are a few other members of the forum who used it - One of the successful members here is also one of the instructors ! ( He's on the main page so it's probably not a secret )

There is a community there as well with a feedback forum etc but the main thing for me was the hours and hours of walk-throughs in different genres. It's a lot more detailed than any advice you could get of a forum and whilst there are some brilliant free Youtube channels out there as well they don't usually walk you through the whole process from start to finish , so it's a more complete course in that sense. Also because it's geared specifically to music licensing it's a lot more relevant than other more general music production courses you can buy.

Full Disclosure : I paid less than the current price because I was an early adopter

I watched a lot of videos from the guy who runs Synch Academy before I joined Taxi. I was wondering if the paid content is much more in-depth than the stuff in the YouTube videos-- sounds like it is. I might have to check it out for a month or two.

Yes , the Hip Hop Tutorial for example is about 5-6 hrs split over a dozen videos

That's the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I'm not into hip-hop in the least, but since getting some of my new gear I've been making some music and beats that are more in that direction. I'm having fun learning how to use my new kits/Expansion Packs. I got Cloud Supply too and it's a great instrument for hip-hop and electronic music. I've been binge watching a lot of MacProVideo content on as much of my Native Instruments software as I can-- now I'd like to binge watch some videos on producing tracks for sync and licensing.

I looked up Sync Academy (I wasn't sure if there was a connection to TAXI, but yes I found them thank you)
They promise a lot, and probably are worth a go.
I need someone to take analyze my production issues. Last time I looked for help on a "hiss" at the start of the song, I got six opinions from four people! So I tried them all. The simplest worked the best.
Thanks for suggestions folks
