Sad Piano forward

Post by superkons » Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:32 pm

Glad to be forwarded for the sad piano listing! As a pianist, I cannot be happier, I suppose :) And again, such lovely words from the screener!

SAD PIANO INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a European Music Licensing Company with an impressive list of placements in Film, TV, and Commercials!

Please submit Original, well-performed Solo Piano Instrumentals that create a sad, melancholic, and/or somber mood. Your Instrumentals should have solid musicianship from start to finish, with great articulation and tonality. Be sure to stick to a singular motif and mood throughout, so your submissions are cohesive from top to bottom. In other words, don't try to score a scene, so much as create something that sticks to one motif. If your Instrumentals evoke emotions like sadness, regret, or longing, then you might have exactly what this Company needs!

Congrats Marco! That's great news! I also submitted for this listing but because of the sound quality they were returned :( I'm looking into some better equipment now! Can I ask what you use to record with?

Thank you, Julia!

I do basically everything in the box, and I play in every performance using my virtual instruments. I have a Scarlett 2i2 2nd gen audio interface. I have a Shure SM58 for the odd recording, and a Zoom H1n I use just for sampling

Thank you both, Mark & Andre!

Andre, I would love to hear your guitar paired with my piano, would that be possible?

Well done! I see the differences between the two of ours. You definitely hit the sad part.

Cheers! Although another forward I listened to did not make me feel particularly sad, in the end it is very subjective innit

Sure if you make it downloadable or send me the track I could put it in my Logic and add guitar.
