Forward >> AMBIENT DRONE INSTRUMENAL Spine-Chilling!

Post by steveprobst » Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:49 am

Several Spine-chilling AMBIENT DRONE INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a very successful Music Licensing Company with a fast-growing list of placements and clients.

They’re searching for quite a few Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic wheelhouse of the references below:

True Detective S1 OST - The Tiara

“Perihelion” by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross

"Darkest Before Dawn" by Steve Roach

Please submit ambient Drone Instrumental Cues that elicit a dark and ominous atmosphere. It would be a good idea to go with a singular motif and mood throughout your pieces so your submissions are cohesive from top to bottom. You could add sparse percussion as well as muted, cinematic sound design elements (and possibly some muted pulses) as your Cues progress to create a sense of development and interest, but don’t overdo it. Remember, less is more! Keep it simple and ambient. You're not trying to win "Composer of the Year" here – it's all about the mood!

Your submissions should be about 90 Seconds long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE deal. You’ll keep 100% of the Writers share and Master rights and the Library will get 100% of the Publisher’s share for any placements they generate. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by a TAXI Screener. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Friday, August 21st, 2020. TAXI Dispatch # D200821MB
