I got a casio previa keyboard which I'm using as a midi controller. Its usb but it seldom works when I use it as a controller. When it does work it sometimes sounds part of a previous vi along with part of the current vi.
The computer recognizes the keyboard. It fact...pt shows the chords I'm playing. It's just that I get no midi sound or data on the track.
I'm also new to this newest ver of pt. So that may be part of the problem.
This casio is new but someone suggested I get another keyboard controller.
Anyone have a clue....suggestion?
Keep it simple please
Help please

Not familiar with that KB particularly but often there is a mode you need to put them in for DAW use. At least put it in " local off mode " so it doesn't trigger it's own internal sounds
