2 Blues/Biker Rock forwards

Post by jefflaplante » Sun Sep 06, 2020 6:11 am

Very happy to report that I received my first 2 forwards since returning to Taxi after a 10 year hiatus. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

Lots of BLUESY, BIKER ROCK INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an extremely busy Music Library with a tremendously long list of killer placements in Hit TV Shows!

They’re on the hunt for a bunch of Mid-To-Up-Tempo Instrumental Cues that are in the general stylistic ballpark of these references:

"Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf

"Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival

"Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin

"Tush" by ZZ Top

“Lo/Hi” by The Black Keys

“Downtown Tonight” by Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown

Although the references have vocals, please submit Instrumental Cues only for this pitch.

Please submit well-produced Rock Instrumental Cues that are full of attitude and swagger! Your submissions should include authentic-sounding, Rock instrumentation that has chunky guitar riffs and hard-hitting drums. If you can picture your Instrumental Cues working in shows on the History Channel like Pawn Stars, Counting Cars, or American Restoration, send them in!

Construct your Cues around central melodic themes while adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation as they progress to create dynamics, interest, and a sense of forward movement. If you use Virtual Instruments or samples, we’d suggest adding some real, organic instruments (drums, guitars, etc.) into your mixes as well. That can often be the thing that makes your music sound more "real" and authentic, rather than sounding like it came from a "box."

All submissions should be about 90 seconds to 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-Faded, Buttoned/Stinger endings are strongly recommended. Do NOT copy the referenced tracks in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal. You’ll split all upfront sync fees 50/50. You’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is not already signed with other Libraries or Catalogs. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020. TAXI # S200715RK
