Americana Forward leads to Library signing

Since I've been ragging on the quality of Taxi's feedback lately I figured it's only fair to praise them when the system does some good for us. We submitted this song to 4 briefs so far, getting 2 forwards and 2 rejections. One rejection was for being slightly off target, and the other was a valid critique about the overpowering low end (on an earlier mix, which I eventually noticed and fixed but it was too late to update for the submission). One of the forwards (i think to this brief S201024AM) led to the song getting signed to a library we hadn't worked with yet, so that was nice.

So for anyone curious, in the 1st 6 months of joining Taxi we've submitted -

18 songs to 33 briefs with 6 forwards (1 song forwarded twice) and so far that's resulted in 2 songs getting signed to 2 different libraries we haven't worked with before and 0 placements.

Thanks for the encouragement Dave! Yes, it's a slow process...I got that much figured out at least.

The piano & mellotron were recorded midi using Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol sounds. The
bass was recorded di into the Positive Grid BiasFx2 plugin (though now I am using Neural Dsp
Archetype amp sims and they are incredible!). The electric guitars are a mix of di through the Bias
amp plugin and a Jet City Pico Valve amp. Drums, acoustic guitar and banjo were all recorded
the old fashion way...with mics.
