We submitted to this pop brief S200909HA back in September,

Several ACOUSTIC POP SONGS with lyrics about "Being Happy with the Simple Things in Life" and Male or Female Vocals are needed by a hard-working Music Library with distribution in over 40 countries that’s constantly landing cool placements in TV Shows.

NOTE: We purposely avoided putting references in this Listing, as we felt they could potentially be more misleading or limiting, than helpful.

Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs are usually more easily placed, but if you have really strong Ballads or Down-Tempo Songs, those could work as well in this context.

I got the original mix done last minute before it was due, so after getting the return a did a quick remix incorporating the shorter intro feedback and put it on the shelf until March of 2021 when the same, almost exact, brief came up again. I pulled it back up and on 1st listen with fresh ears I immediately noticed some more issues & did a more detailed remix trying to get the vocal and the production in general closer to a "Pop" standard, and submitted it to the newer brief. Surprisingly, we got a forward. For those wondering, the same screener reviewed both briefs. Feedback on the 2nd submission -
