Congrats Mike! Great job! I was gonna try and submit something to this listing, even started a track with bfusilier but we weren't sure what Cinematic Progressive Rock should sound like. Now we know Great job man! Snare sounds fine to me... I'd be curious to know if you had the same screener that RLD had for his track that got returned for not being broadcast quality with the reason being the drums.Congrats man, hope this works out for ya! - Big Blue

CONGRATS!! Unique sound! Snare sounds fine to me, maybe a little louder in the mix though wouldn't hurt, but, I am sitting and listening with my laptop speakers.

Hey Mike... Ur track is Awesome! Gr8 guitars man! Just wondering, are U using Reason Drmkits... cos the snare sounds like it. I used to use that software but had problems with the snare sound. Hmmm, the snares need to be louder I agree with Orest on that. Maybe U could layer this snare sound with another, perhaps using Pro Tools sound replacer and replace a whole track of snare but still keeping this snare sound but with anotehr, if U know what I mean. If Ur using Reason, U may also trigger this snare with anotehr by linking the output cable at the back of the NNXT sampler to the input of the Redrum machine loaded with another snare sound. That way, everytime this snare hits so will the other. I hope I'm not being too confusing here... All in all Ur track is really kick ass! Congrats on the forward!-Kel

The drum sounds are from Toontrack Drumkit from Hell. The guitar rhythm sound was an expirement... I used a Ernie Ball MusicMan Luke into a Mesa Boogie Mark IV and Mesa 2x12 cab miked with a sennheiser 421 and a Shure Sm57. That is the right side, left side is a direct track using Pro Tools 8 new guitar amp sim. I may experiment with a remix of the drums. See what happens!Mike
