I dig this. It has that feel. I'm not crazy about the hook the last 2 lines starting with 'UP DOWN DOWN UP..." don't think they flow with the rest.

A grittier vocal may be needed to really capture it imho.

Sounds more like old country than old blues, especially with the fiddle and jaw harp. Blues is about attitude and blue notes in the singing and music.

I'm not an expert on this style, but I think the lyrics are pretty good, and the harp works. I would recommend partnering with a vocalist and guitarist that can get a more authentic blues sound. This vocal and guitar sound more country to me.

Just one opinion,
