The lead instrument sounds pretty MIDI, and the total mix seems to be messy, all instruments occupying the same space somehow and fighting hard to win...
Thank for the feedback, when you talk about space you mean panoramic ? frequencies ? both ?
Oops, that's a tough question, and really hard to quantify... it IS about frequencies I think, there's a lot of lower mids (which is always a problem range), and it make it feels crammed together, like all instruments are trying to say the same thing, just in a slightly differnt way, which makes it feel like a room of people all shouting solutions to the same problem but no one gets heard because they're all shouting against eachother.

I understand that's kinda diffucult to do anything with, but that's how I hear it...

That's a good description of an arrangement issue.

Ello Lasercookie!

I feel there is a gem here - but the production isn't letting the music shine. Agreed with cosmic and Zaychi that everything feels as if it is in the same spot both frequency wise and spatially. Even just some panning and eq would go a long way to un-muddling it. (perhaps double your strings or lead - panned full L&R - this would also give you a chance to beef up the individual sounds a bit by layering).

I had less of a problem with your brass after the third measure, but it was jarring for me on the first french horn note prior to the kick in.

I'd have put the percussion a bit louder and perhaps a bit more compressed to keep it the driver.

Last thing for me was the ending - the trumpet note that is out of key (to me) feels strange there. The whole thing has a nice rhythm going with the choir building. At 1:38 it feels like it comes to it's high point, I wanted it to just end there with the voices ringing out. The tag for the last few seconds seemed odd.

I'm not an expert by any means, but that's my 2p! :)
