Well-performed vocals with compelling lyrical flows are a must for this pitch, as well. Your instrumentation can range, but be sure that it adds to the chilled-out vibe of your tracks and doesn't detract from it. Your production and any virtual instruments or samples you use should be high-quality and modern.

Oh dear - I agree with Tom. Not Chill/Lo-Fi Hip Hop in the slightest

Musically it's lacking a hip hop beat - all the references have quite strong ones. Vocally it's miles off, the refs all have rappers on the them - short punchy phrasing - tough lyrics and subject matter

Long spacious dream like reverb drenched vocals about floating are totally off target for the genre.
