Hi,
I was going thru my BMI statement an notice a placement on Dynasty.... ( I remember watching the original in the 80's).
It a nice spot :55 seconds.... and a nice synch fee as well.

The Taxi model of Write Submit and Forget is so true..... Here's a good reason why..... The song was written in 2016, ( has had multi placements) pitched to Dynasty in Dec 2020, it aired in July 2021, I got royalties in February 2022, the synch fee will show up later in 2022. It's a game of patience and numbers..... Keep writing and throwing them against the wall, something will stick, and then something more stick. and on and on...

I'm sure it was a lovely piece, you know I'm a fan of yours. I had my first (that i know of) jazz trio placement in "First Wives Club" last week... and like your placement here, it was way in the background. All of that work we do to properly mix and EQ seems for naught with these sort of placements. But a placement is a placement! Congrats.
