Latin Hip Hop on "All American: Homecoming" tonight!

It's very rare that I find out about placements BEFORE the show actually airs (usually I only find out via cue sheets or royalty statements.... some 3-9 months after the initial airing!), but this one is a fun exception.

I found out my song "Ya Ya" is being used on tonight's episode of "All American: Homecoming" on the CW network.

This is a song from one of my supergroups called The Axe Grinders. It's a three person job, involving myself on production, my 20+ year friend from my hometown on guitar, and an assortment of killer vocalists. In this case, the rapper is a guy that I found 5-6 years ago when he was Taxi's Spotlight Member of the Month. I reached out to him blindly after hearing his music, and we've been making songs together ever since.

As usual, I wouldn't be doing this without Taxi, and I sure never would have met the vocalist Mike without Taxi either!!!
