Forwards -> SAD, MINIMALIST PIANO & STRINGS

Post by cantilena » Thu Mar 03, 2022 5:35 pm

Hi folks! I'm happy to report that two of my tracks were forwarded to the client for the S220209SD listing, SAD, MINIMALIST PIANO & STRINGS INSTRUMENTALS.

The links follow if you'd like to have a listen:

Same Old Story: https://www.taxi.com/members/cYEpu7s1Rw ... -old-story
A Look Back: https://www.taxi.com/members/cYEpu7s1Rw ... -look-back

Alas, a third piece, Shadows of Rain, didn't make the cut. Too bad - that was my favourite title! ;)

I was particularly happy to have these forwards, as I've been actively working to improve my string sounds. I recently got a set of controllers from https://monogramcc.com/, and I found the sliders to be especially helpful in providing a more human feel and sound to my string tracks. I recommend Monogram highly, if anyone is looking for general purpose controllers. They can also be used for controlling Adobe software, Windows, etc. They're not only for DAWs the way a dedicated MIDI controller would be.

As always, if anyone has any questions, please ask.

Have a great day! :D

Beautiful tracks. Midi controllers make so much difference to string library's. I've been using the Nano controller for a while now, which is a budget option-though the fader travel is very short! Thanks for sharing

Truly beautiful piano playing, you've got the touch! :) Personally I would prefer to hear the strings a little more forward, the piano dominates the mix in my opinion. But, congrats on the forwards!
