Send them well-composed Cinematic Instrumentals that could work well as underscore for a variety of scenes. Inviting motifs, excellent arrangements, and top-notch Orchestral instrumentation are all needed for this request. Some additional instrumentation (like piano or guitar) is fine to include, as well. Your submissions can range from uplifting to somber to just about anywhere in between! Just be sure to stick with one mood per piece to maintain cohesion. Craft your pieces around a central motif and layer instrumentation in and out as they progress to create forward motion, interest, and dynamics. Please be sure your production is polished and any virtual instruments or samples you use are high-quality and state-of-the-art.
All submissions should be 2 minutes to 3:30 minutes in length, give or take, and have non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings. Do NOT copy the referenced artist or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.

Hey there - nice composition but to my ears I think it still needs work on the dynamics - the piano is very choppy , you might want to look at the pedaling - also the strings sound a bit synthy to me, meaning that the cello really sounds like a synth, you don't hear much in the way of dynamics. In the piece there really isn't much variety in dynamics and it seems to stay in one space for the entire piece. I do think you have a lot of great ideas but in the past I have found the screeners to be very unforgiving I am not an expert so hopefully others will comment

Thank you for the comments. I have a revision that is much better in all aspects of the request. BTW, it has been my experience that "underscore" is intended, in fact required, primarily to set a mood. It's "background," if you will. At any rate, the screeners will be the final judge. It's a nice composition. But overall I don't feel like the instruments sound quite real ... Just my opinion, I have no idea where the screener will land on it.
Have you seen the Marc Jovani webcast? Great tips on orchestral realism https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ov5EVeg1Zpg
Also, when the strings enter at around :17 seconds, these notes sound too jarring to me. If you're going for dissonance, maybe it's better to have the strings enter in harmony and then introduce the dissonance a little later after we know where the strings live.
