BMAT opinions/thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been lurking on the forums for a while now, hoping to get in the habit of posting / being a part of the community finally!

So I've read a little bit about Neighboring Rights Organizations, and somewhere heard of about BMAT, which I think is in that category (or something similar). Finding uses of your music across the world that aren't reported, getting you some extra money, they take a little bit of it.

I have the BMAT Content License pdf and am looking through it, but I figured it might be valuable to hear anyone's practical opinion about this group/groups like it.

Any potential downsides to registering in an NRO's database? Perhaps that I couldn't put it in another one that I prefer down the line? Or much worse yet, that their fingerprinting conflicts with something my PRO has already caught?
