Epic Drums Feedback - title suggestions

Post by bmoBauhaus » Tue Jul 11, 2023 9:48 pm

Haven't mixed or mastered this yet but wondering if I can get some feedback before tomorrow's due date. If its on the right track I'll put in the effort to have it ready by then. Thanks!

Here is my track:

And here is the listing:
Lots of EPIC PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a Music Licensing company that's landed some great placements for TAXI members.

This company is on the lookout for a bunch of Mid-to-Up-Tempo Instrumentals in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:

"Sinister" by Mattia Turzo

"Epic Drums" by Alec Koff

"Secession" by Mattia Turzo

Please send in well-produced, Percussion Instrumentals exploding with tons of epic energy! Your submissions should have driving, bombastic rhythms, high-quality percussion instruments, and solid arrangements with plenty of forward motion, dynamics, and interest. Percussion instruments and should be the focal elements of your arrangements, but incorporating some other elements (like Sound Design or minimal horns) could work as well. Please be sure your productions and any virtual sounds and samples you use are high-quality and current-sounding.

NOTE: Our experience tells us that SIMPLE is better for percussion Instrumentals! They're not looking for "percussionist of the year!" Big, simple, and epic will almost always work better.

All submissions should be about 1 to 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Please do NOT copy the referenced examples in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, tone, and overall vibe. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This Library offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 Deal. You’ll get 50% of any sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. The Publisher will get 50% of sync fees and 100% of the Publisher’s Share. You’ll keep 100% of the original Copyright and Master Recording. You must own or control the Masters and Copyright to submit to this pitch. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you’d like, online or per CD. Time permitting, someone from the Music Library may screen some or all of the submissions. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023. TAXI # S230712RU

Just listened. I like the sounds and the composition, very energetic!
I agree with Graham, I thought a bit more variety would help. I didn't listen to the refs, so cannot comment on how well it matches their 'epicness'. My only suggestion, more COWBELL!
