Hiya,

I don't really see any issue with this track. It's not "modern sounding", which might explained the "dated" kick back, but to me that's more about samples used, which sounded fine. I'd probably disagree with the screener on most of these points to be frank.

It's a nice song, might be worth given the nice melody, to do an alternative cut. You can use the vocals, structure and then add some electronic elements as they seem to gain more traction. Then just smash a tonne of reverb on it like a lot of modern producers do (don't do that).

Don't be disheartened. I see no issue with this track at all.
