I put some songs on you tube to submit to a songwriting contest. I am looking forward to hearing the critique's and of course terrified at the same time. I seem to be doing all of this on a whim! The production is terrible on you tube I had my neice record the 4 songs and we had to get it done that day. I wonder if I put them on here if you could help me with the genre of them? Its guitar and vocals so I automatically thought folk, but I really don't know. Please be kind I honestly cannot beleive I'm even on this site and possibly going to attempt to submit something at some point. Thanks for listening and also how the heck do I put the songs on here?

Welcome, and ... wow! You have an amazing talent. If, as I suspect, there is no "autotune" on your vocals then your pitch is fantastic! And the guitar playing is clean and precise, the song is beautiful and has a great structure, and I could go on... you are well on your way to making great, licensable tracks.

One tip: you could put the link to your artist page in your signature line (see my sig below) to make it easier for the rest of the forum to follow your tracks.
