Nice piece! That might be entirely down to personal taste, but I find the snare too dominant. I hear the country in it, too.

BTW, Tom... I did lower the snare some. I thought about your feedback and that played low under dialog, it might stand out too much.

Yes. The sound itself is not very aggressive/high-pitched, but lowering the volume a tad should be ok.
