New Tunesat Detections

Post by Casey H » Sun May 26, 2024 4:30 pm

Tunesat picked up 3 uses of a track of mine on The Big Ten network today. That was a pleasant surprise. My guess is it won't pay much but you never know. It's one of those tracks that's been in libraries for many years and keeps getting used over and over. I had written a song years back, not a very good one, but the backing track opens with this cool guitar riff that everyone loves.

Here is one of them: https://caseysongs.com/files/1287761/bi ... 8-0400.mp3

I hadn't thought about Tuensat for a while, even though I created an account a while ago. After seeing your post I logged in and to my surprise I see that one of my tracks has been used in two show that appear to be French. "Voyage en eaux froides" and "Unsere Meere"

I keep getting more and more of these, so some library I'm in got this track to the TV production company and the music person really likes using it. That happens a lot and is part of that 80/20 rule whereby 80 percent of placements come from 20 percent of tracks. It will be interesting to see in 6-9 months how many pennies, nickels, quarters, or dollars this amounts to. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised.
