Dancing With The Stars

Two years ago, I signed a deal (through Taxi) with a library for five celebrattory pop tracks that would be pitched directly to Dancing With The Stars on major network tv...ABC, I think. With quite a bit of time going by, I assumed that my tracks weren't chosen and the show passed them by. Fast forward 2 years and what do I see on my latest royalty statement? Dancing With The Stars!...and it was one of the cues in that initial batch of five from two years ago. Patience is a virtue, my friends.

Congrats! Hopefully you land a placement on ABS vs Disney+. I've got a couple of rockabilly tracks they use during Elvis night, the difference in pay is significant.

ABC: Five seconds paid $27.62
Disney+: Nine seconds paid $0.28
