Marc and I would appreciate your ears on this new one.
How's everything: mix, production, songwriting, etc?
Any issues or room for improvement?
Any style alikes? (We started with a The Constellations vibe but it evolved.)
Thanks!

Re: Fun Cool Swagger
Hey guys - Love the intro! This might just be me but I think it loses momentum when the guitar on the right and the half time drums come in. If it were me I would let it rock more with more of a straight ahead rock drum groove and maybe lose that reggae-ish rhythm guitar, emphasize that intro guitar line throughout more.
Mixwise sounds good to me.

Re: Fun Cool Swagger
Sounds amazing to my ears!
Some things I would change though IMHO:
- The vocals delay can be exhausting after a while
- vocals are too loud, and especially the drums are too quiet. For a fat and modern sound, definitely pump up those drums a bit more
It is a matter of taste though.
- a vocal break would be nice. The vocals and their constant lyrics are a bit exhausting until the "ready to play" in the last third of the song
- Vocals are bit to broad/wide for my taste. I like them more centered with backings on the sides. But the lead vocals are on both sides if I'm not mistaken.
Overall a really great production though guys!

Thanks eo! Thanks JayJay! Good food for thought. We'll prolly try some or all of that. I'll post a new mix when it's ready.

I like it Dean. Best mini part "get my way" Maybe because you hit a few higher notes there. Love the loop guitar notes in the intro and repeating. drowns the vocal a tad at the beginning. Your cool voice is a perfect match for this vibe. congrats
