Yep I just listened to this one. It sounds very AI. Sounds like the whole thing was done in AI. Again in my minds eye AI is the same as royalty free. Because if there was no human input on instrumentation again the US copyright office says it doesn’t qualify for copyright protection. Many karaoke companies use AI to produce their products.

Only way a song using AI would qualify for a copyright is if some human input actually took place in the song. That should be a comfort to those of us who are full time human songwriters. As for myself I use upper line Yamaha and Roland synthesizers to create a great deal of my music. But I will not use AI.

I hear filtered white noise, as to evoke surf on the beach? I'm not qualified to say "all AI music has that". Are there examples of AI music that you can point to? This is interesting.
Seems like I'm not late to the party but rather early.

Crazy that I'm the only one here apparently hearing all of the signs ^^
The reverb in between (which is noisy and grainy) and a dozen other hallmarks.

Here another song from his channel. Not only the music is generated but also the graphic as you can clearly tell.

wild!
A listing from taxi is officially looking for AI music now! xD

A dystopian future is awaiting us producers

I've been in this business a long time now, but I will wholeheartedly admit to not knowing a damn thing about AI. In fact, I've never even used Chat GPT, and wouldn't even know how to access it or what to do with it if I did.

That being said, I'm completely ignorant to what "AI music" sounds like. What is it you're hearing that is screaming "AI" to you? Can you pinpoint some timestamps? I'm not saying you're wrong or going to argue you, I just legitimately want to know what you're keying on and how you come to the conclusion that it was artificially made.

Hey Matt-
A great place to go first is "Suno.com" you can literally type in the genre, BPM, etc etc and what you want it to generate for you, and it will spit out an AI track... YOU of all people will be able to tell the difference immediately.
