Well it sounds retro , kinda bluesy , a bit rocky and maybe a touch pop. Throwback Blues Pop-Rock then.

The trick with Sync though is not to write your songs and then scratch your head over what genre it might be. It's to write very specifically in the genres that get licensed ( as set out in the Listings ) .

So that means knowing what you're aiming for before you even write a note. This way you never have to ask what genre your song is, and your chances of a song being forwarded and ultimately licensed increase exponentially.
