Feedback requested for Dramatic Ominous Instrumental

Post by eandersonmusic » Thu Sep 05, 2024 9:42 am

Hey everybody!
I would love to get some feedback from you guys on this instrumental I composed for a Taxi listing. I still have a few days to make changes, all feedback welcome!

Here's my track:
https://www.taxi.com/members/KIU8KmYxSi ... slips-away

And here's the listing:
Lots of DRAMATIC and OMINOUS ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an International Music Library with lots of great placements in Film and TV.

This Library is searching for Electronic Instrumentals that could be found on a playlist with the following references:

"Future Tension" by Soundcritters
https://youtu.be/Pdcx-JS4Gmg?si=mqPg09PcSCA-3wYs

"Signal To Noise" by ‪Scott Buckley‬
https://youtu.be/YzoUwQscAWU?si=Z9YiHNyoQb_3IiMy

"Technology Cinematic Ambient Electronic" by cleanmindsounds
https://youtu.be/eOgbJkbJV2g?si=L_ZcbAUjE0Q-bfVL

Please submit well-produced Electronic Instrumentals with an ominous or dramatic sound and a nice blend of electronic and cinematic elements. Your submissions should have futuristic motifs, engaging rhythms, and solid arrangements with plenty of forward momentum, dynamics, and interest. Electronic and Cinematic Instrumentation that's in the general stylistic ballpark of the references will work best, such as strings, pulsing synths, cinematic drums, ambient keys, etc. Any virtual sounds or samples you use need to be high-quality and not dated-sounding.

TAXI Tip: We think this Company is looking for tracks that ride the line between futuristic and ominous motifs without falling too far into the dark or scary side of things. Having a dramatic and ominous sound without crossing into that territory could be what helps get this Library's attention!

Your submissions should be roughly 1.5 minutes long for Cues, and about 2 to 4 minutes long for Instrumentals, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Please do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

AI ALERT: This company does not accept or sign music that has been melodically composed using generative AI, nor does it accept backing tracks or full instrumental tracks created with AI.

This company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, so please be sure the Instrumentals and/or Cues you pitch for this opportunity are NOT already signed with any other Companies or Catalogs. Any sync fees will be split 50/50 with the Company. You'll get 100% of the Writer's share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher's share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit. Please submit as many Instrumentals and/or Cues as you'd like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Sunday, September 8th, 2024. TAXI Dispatch #D240908OM

Thanks for your time,
Erik
