I would say there's nothing wrong with the production per se, thats often the issue with music feedback, it's incredibly subjective which doesn't help.

I can't see the orginal listing so I can't really comment on they're suitability unfortunately, if the retro is 80's then I'd say it's quite on the head, got some Jackson vibes from the late 80's going on.

Regarding getting vague feedback and rejections just keep ploughing on, I was in a very similar posistion not that long ago. Most of my tracks were forwarded, then none, then I got a deal with a library from a forward for a more niche genre. Its very much a game of having to keep going, keep on submitting good standard stuff and playing the averages.

You'll get there.

I agree listings can be a crapshoot. This one was asking for 90s influenced RnB in all styles. So everything from All4One to D'Angelo I suppose!

My main concern was not this listing but my mix and master. Thanks to the advice here (and the BF sales) I listened very critically, heard the weaknesses people mentioned and addressed them one by one - v3 is way better than V2 I think!
