Need to Bring a Few Songs Over the Finish Line!

Post by kv99 » Sat Dec 14, 2024 12:06 pm

Hi All - Relatively new here and not sure if I have the chops to get submittals though. I think I have a good base for songs but haven't been able to get any of them over the finish line alone. Need better production and a singer would be nice! Have some ideas on lyrics but not complete. Check out a few songs and let me know if you're interested in collaboration. Thanks for your time. - Kent

Hey Kv99,

I can't listen to you tracks because I think they're on private. Try making the tracks public by going into edit track and click public...

Weird. Just checked and all of the songs appear to be designated public.

Just testing the first one - NOPE - still get the dreaded 404 Error notice.
Try again, please; good luck.

In addition to making your songs to share public, I learned recently there is one other checkbox you need to have checked. Go to "Edit Profile" on the site and make sure the box, "Public (Viewable by anybody)", at top of page is checked.

Happy Holidays!
:D Casey

The links work now, so you've cracked the first hurdle :).

I realise that you're seeking a collaborator to help you move forward, but I always think that the best help comes when you help yourself as much as possible first. That way you have a stronger starting point and its easier for others to join in .... if you still need them. I'm prompted to say that because a quick listen to several of your tracks suggests that you're new to sync and perhaps have not yet considered what makes good sync tracks. A fantastic starting point would be to visit Matt Vander Boegh's youtube channel...
https://www.youtube.com/@mattvanderboegh
There's a LOT of great information on offer in those free videos that will shape all of your work for sync once you've watched.

If that makes you hungry for more then try visiting SyncMyMusic for an absolute ton of free content ...
https://www.youtube.com/@SyncMyMusic

I guarantee that you'll have helped yourself a huge amount by doing these things, and you'll see and hear how you can move your tracks somewhat closer to the finish line - without any help.
I hope that helps, and best of luck to you! :)
